Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am the founder of Sanny Sews. I'm a New Jersey-based textile artist who loves to explore the techniques of knitting, sewing, embroidery, upholstery, and I'm always eager to add more textile skills to my creative repertoire!

My journey began in high school where I took a sewing course, learning to read patterns and creating pieces like a zebra print dress and dark green floral pajama pants. My love for fashion led me to study Fashion Merchandising, where I developed a deeper understanding of textiles. However, it wasn't until 2021 when I bought a sewing machine on a whim that I truly discovered my passion for sewing. I became instantly addicted!

I started Sanny Sews to share my love of unique, vintage textiles and transform them into one-of-a-kind pieces. I have a passion for sustainability and try to incorporate natural fibers, thrifted textiles, and remnant fabrics where I can.
